Located on the 7th floor in Hotel Diana Roof Garden, just a few steps away from the Opera Theatre, is a beautiful outdoor garden housing the restaurant l’Uliveto Roof Garden, from where you can appreciate a dazzling view of the roofs adorning the historical centre of Rome.
L’Uliveto Roof Garden is a marvelous green area, embellished with sofas and cushions, rich in fragrances and colours. Olive trees, citruses, geraniums in various hues and many more Mediterranean plants decorating our rooftop and creating an enchanting vibe throughout the day, in particular at dawn.
La Torretta, a secluded and private space, is the highest and most panoramic point on our rooftop terrace where the scenery expands and the view lies upon the beauty of Rome and towards the Roman Castles. La Torretta is the perfect place where you can savour a cocktail privately, from the classic choices to the more intricate inventions created by our skilled bartenders, and it is specifically recommended for basking in an amazing and unforgettable dining experience.
Located on the attic at Hotel Diana, a green filled rooftop terrace, our Restaurant, which borrows its name from the numerous olive trees present, welcomes both non-guests and guests of the Hotel. It is open every day, from Monday to Sunday, in the evening. When the season is warm enough, it is open for lunch on Sundays.
L’Uliveto Roof Garden offers an authentic and abundant menu, always re-elaborated, of classic dishes typical of the traditional Italian and Roman cuisines, whose ingredients are adapted according to the seasonality. Our Chef Alessandro Pinca is committed with passion and flair to creating delectable dishes using special and carefully selected ingredients.

Romantic and exclusive, our Roof Garden with a welcoming and cozy ambience, offers a magnificent view overlooking the roofs of the centre of Rome. The viewpoint sits from Terme di Diocleziano to the bell tower of Santa Maria Maggiore, all the way to the lights of the Castles, covering the several iconic monuments of Rome. It is worth mentioning the Saint Peter’s Cupola that appears in close proximity.
Located on the Roof Garden is the Lounge bar, open every afternoon until late evening for non-guests of the Hotel as well. We offer a vast selection of wines and cocktails, from the classic choices to signature drinks, created by our skillful bartenders, perfect for a happy hour at sunset. An actual pleasant relaxing moment!
The Roof Garden l’Uliveto is the ideal location for every occasion. We receive our guests for business lunches and dinners, banquets for evening galas, anniversaries, proposals, birthdays, graduations. We hold special consideration for small-scale weddings with a limited number of invites and reconfirmations. We meet our clients halfway, introduce our spaces and present our own different menu proposals thoughtfully created with the strong support of our Chef Alessandro Pinca, complete with a selected wine list.
